YARMOUTH, MA — One person is facing multiple charges, including operating under the influence of alcohol, after a head-on crash this week.

Shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, Yarmouth Police responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Route 6A and Willow Street. When officers arrived, they found a GMC Sierra pickup truck and Jeep Wrangler, both with heavy front-end damage and airbag deployment in the roadway.

The pickup truck was pulling into traffic on Route 6A from Willow Street and crossed over the center lines into the opposite travel lane, striking the Jeep head-on. The driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries.
