Pedestrian, Dog Killed In Cape Cod Crash
A dog died at the scene of a recent morning crash in Mashpee. Police said the pedestrian has also died from their injuries.
MASHPEE, MA — A pedestrian and a dog have died from their injuries after a recent car vs. pedestrian crash on Cape Cod.
Mashpee police and fire-rescue officials responded to the Job's Fishing Road area around 7:20 a.m. on Nov. 8 for the accident.
Officers found a pedestrian lying in the northbound lane of the road with what appeared to be severe injuries at the time. Over the weekend, police updated their release to share that the pedestrian had died.

A dog that the person was walking died at the scene, police said.
The driver stayed at the scene of the crash during the investigation, which remains ongoing.
