Police Officer Involved In Crash On Cape Cod
A two-car crash injured both drivers Monday evening.

CHATHAM, MA – A Chatham police officer was involved in a two-car crash Monday evening, police said. The collision happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Old Queen Anne Road and Partridge Path.
The officer, 48-year-old Andrew Hutton, was not responding to a call for service at the time of the crash, according to police. He was driving down Partridge Path in a 2016 Ford Explorer police cruiser.
The other driver, 35-year-old Harwich resident Andrea Wilson, was driving east on Old Queen Road in a 2007 Toyota Sequoia, police said.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were taken to Cape Cod Hospital, according to police. Their vehicles were heavily damaged.
Hutton has been a member of the Chatham Police Department since 2007.
