EASTHAM, MA — A Friday rollover crash in Eastham sent two people to the hospital and prompted local police to ask residents and visitors alike to use additional caution during the run-up to July 4.
On Friday at approximately 12:40 p.m., the Eastham Police and Fire Departments responded to a roll-over crash at the intersection of Route 6 and Massasoit Road. No serious injuries were reported, however, two of the four vehicle occupants were transported to Cape Cod Hospital for precautionary reasons, police said.
The cause of this crash was determined to be a vehicle turning left off of Route 6, across two lanes of traffic. The vehicle successfully navigated across the first lane but couldn't see a vehicle approaching in the second lane where the collision occurred.
