Popular Cape Cod Eatery To Offer Special Promotion Ahead Of Move: Report

OSTERVILLE, MA — As Wimpy’s Seafood Cafe prepares to say goodbye to its Osterville location, the Cape Cod staple is planning a unique promotion.

On its final day in Osterville, set for Oct. 6, the restaurant will roll back prices on some of its major menu items to 1938 levels. That includes hamburgers, which will cost 15 cents for customers dining in during the farewell party, according to The Cape Cod Times.

When Wimpy’s opens its new location in Hyannis, the menu is expected to stay largely the same, with a few additions.

No date has been set yet for when Wimpy's new location will open its doors.
