Portion of Phinney's Lane Closed In Barnstable This Week

BARNSTABLE, MA — Phinney's Lane will be closed to traffic through Friday this week for Vineyard Wind work at the intersection of Attucks Lane and Phinney's Lane.

Starting Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Phinney’s Lane will be closed to traffic from Route 132/Iyannough Road to Attucks Lane to "facilitate necessary Vineyard Wind duct bank work in the intersection of Attucks Lane and Phinney’s Lane."

The intersection of Attucks Lane and Phinney’s Lane will remain open for travel. Businesses will remain open during construction and will remain accessible via posted detours.

A map posted below indicates routes open to travel.

In addition, Phinney’s Lane from Old Strawberry Hill Road to Strawberry Hill Road will remain closed to through traffic during the same timeframe. The closures are necessary due to work associated with the town’s sewer installation and associated water main relocation, officials said.
