Rt. 28 Traffic Will Be Impacted By Bearse's Way Road Work
The next phase of the project will begin this Thursday, Sept. 20.
BARNSTABLE, MA – The next phase of the Bearse's Way road improvement project will begin Thursday, Sept. 20 and end Friday, Sept. 21, according to MassDOT. During this time, traffic will be detoured for vehicles traveling in both directions on Bearse's Way and Rt. 28 near the intersection.
Work hours will be 6 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes during this time period to avoid the work site.
Transit officials advise drivers to use caution when driving through the construction area and follow safety and detour signs.
