Sewer Improvements Coming To Route 6A In Barnstable

BARNSTABLE, MA — Sewer improvements will cause alterations to traffic patterns during the first half of the week in Barnstable.

From Monday through Wednesday, officials said a contractor for the Town of Barnstable will be performing sewer improvements on Route 6A in the vicinity of 3010 Main St.

As a result, localized traffic will be reduced to a single-lane alternating in the area shown in the figure below.

"These infrastructure enhancements will improve reliability of the sewer system," officials said.

Police details will be available to assist in directing traffic.
