Shark Warning at Cape Cod Beaches
A shark was spotted eating a seal near swimmers in Eastham.

Two beaches in the region were closed this week after a shark was spotted eating a seal near swimmers off the coast of Eastham. Nauset Light and Coast Guard beach were temporarily closed as a precaution, the Associated Press reported.
This sighting came after 17 great white sharks were spotted near Chatham earlier this month. So far this summer there have been no shark attacks on humans in Cape Cod.
