Sharon's Irv Kempner to Discuss Unique Eastern Europe- Israel Journey for Jewish Teens on Channel 7 Program Dec. 21
'March of the Living' to Be Featured on WHDH's Jewish Perspectives

Lifelong community activist Irv Kempner of Sharon (Mass.) will discuss plans to bring as many Jewish Massachusetts teens as possible in 2016 on a life-changing journey to Eastern Europe and Israel under the auspices of the international March of the Living (MOTL) program.
A Sharon resident Kempner, will be the featured guest on the WHDH-TV / Channel 7 ‘Jewish Perspectives’ show scheduled to air on Sunday, December 21 at 6:00 a.m. He is chair of the new Mass. chapter of Friends of MOTL. He is a retired Gillette Co. executive.
The Dec. 21 program will include a video clip and pictures from previous teen marches in addition to an interview with Kempner about his motivation, experience and interest in MOTL. A son of Holocaust survivors, Kempner has participated in several Friends of MOTL. The interview was conducted by Rabbi Ronne Friedman of Temple Israel Boston. Kempner suggests that anyone who isn’t awake at 6:00 a.m. on Dec. 21 can set their DVR to tape the show which will also be available online after the broadcast

The Mass. Friends of MOTL chapter will provide scholarships for teens in 2016. It also aims to recruit a contingent of adults (21+) for the 2015 Friends trip. Both groups depart after Passover and last 14 days. For general information, visit www.MOTL.org.
