Son Knocks Dad Out In Texting Fight At Cape Cod Restaurant: PD
The argument at a Yarmouth restaurant allegedly stemmed from the father asking his son to stop texting while at dinner.

YARMOUTH, MA – A son was arrested for knocking his father out during an argument about texting at dinner, Yarmouth police said. The family was having dinner at Montebello Restaurant on Saturday, Feb. 24 when the father asked his son to stop texting throughout dinner, according to police.
The pair argued and went outside, where the son allegedly punched his father in the face with so much force that it knocked him unconscious. The father sustained a "severe" wounds to his face and head when he fell and hit the ground, police said.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The son, who remains unidentified because he is a juvenile, was later arrested and released to the custody of his mother. He is charged with felony assault and battery on a person over 60 with serious injury.
