Storytelling and Ice Cream Social to Benefit Cape Area Rowing Programs

Family fun! The Cape Cod Tales and Ice Cream Social July 23, 1:30-3:30 pm, Mashpee Commons

An afternoon of Cape Cod storytelling by Debbie Griffin, a family-focused storyteller for more than 30 years, presenting historic and contemporary tales. Also, Chief Flying Eagle (Earl Mills, Sr.) of the Mashpee Wampanoag, an author, woodsman, and historian, will tell native American tales of Cape Cod. Complimentary Ice Cream, donated by Polar Cave Ice Cream Parlor in Mashpee, will be served.

Date: Saturday, July 23, 2016

Time: 1:30-3:30 pm

Place: Mashpee Commons, across from main library entrance

Tickets: $10/individual; $25/family of four. A 10% discount is available ($9/individual; 22.50/family) in advance by emailing icecreamtix@gmail before July 18. Proceeds will benefit Cape Cod Rowing and Barnstable Rowing, two non-profit clubs, and will be used for equipment and program expansion available to all Cape residents interested in learning to row.
