Sunny With Chance Of Sharks: Track Great Whites Off Cape Cod
Beachgoers can use the app to track the movement of great white sharks in real-time at five Cape Cod beaches.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Knowing where sharks are on Cape Cod is now just as easy as checking the weather, thanks to a new feature on the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy's Sharktivity app.
Beachgoers can use the app to track the movement of great white sharks in real-time. The conservancy announced users will be able to detect tagged sharks along five outer Cape location,
The conservancy teamed up with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries to install acoustic receivers off the coast of North Beach, Nauset Trail 1, Newcomb Hollow Beach, Lecount Hollow and Head of the Meadow.

Since launching, the new feature, the new app has detected sharks named Broken Tale, Scarface and Big Papi.
