Teen Stabbed Taxi Driver On Cape Cod: Police

The driver called police Monday night after he was stabbed in Hyannis.

HYANNIS, MA — A teen was arrested Monday night following the reported stabbing of a taxi driver in Hyannis. The driver called police around 7:30 p.m. and said he had been stabbed on Camp Street, according to reports.

The man had stab wounds to his upper torso and was taken to Cape Cod Hospital. The teenage suspect, who investigators believe stabbed him in the chest and arm through the open driver's side window, initially claimed he was an adult, police told 7-News.

The driver has been treated and released from the hospital.
