The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod Named Official Bank of the New Balance Falmouth Road Race

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod today announced that it will be the Official Bank of the New Balance Falmouth Road Race.  The 2014 race takes place on Sunday, August 17 at 9 a.m.

As the Official Bank, The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod will have employees volunteering at race stations on race day. The bank will also have a team of runners participating. Additionally, the bank will be offering a number of bibs to local runners to help raise funds for local charities. Details on the bib promotion will be announced soon.

“We’re thrilled to have a role in supporting what has become such an iconic event on the Cape,” said Joel Crowell, President of The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod. “It’s in line with our mission to invest our resources back into the local community. Even though this race now draws elite runners and spectators from all over the world it remains local at heart, donating an average of $145,000 over the past two years to youth athletic groups and worthy non-profit organizations across the Cape.”
