Trash Trucks Needed To Clear Debris From Barnstable Homeless Camps
Debris was cleared from walking trails and public areas near Kalmus Beach and conservation land near Santuit Pond, Barnstable police said.

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Barnstable Police Department Community Impact Unit was out this week cleaning up the town.
According to officials, agents from the unit removed trash from several abandoned homeless encampments on Tuesday.
Three trash trucks were needed to clear debris from walking trails and public areas near Kalmus Beach, and conservation land near Santuit Pond, officials said.

"The former tenants have accepted help and are currently housed and doing well," they added.
