Turkey Crashes Through Woman's Car On Cape Cod
Police said the woman escaped serious injury after a turkey went through her car on Route 6A.

SANDWICH, MA – A woman escaped serious injury when she crashed into a turkey on Route 6A Monday morning, police said. The 43-year-old collided with the bird as it was crossing the eastbound side of the road around 8:30 a.m.
The turkey crashed through the windshield of the 2007 Kia Sportage and passed between the driver and the unoccupied passenger seat, according to police. The bird continued through the passenger compartment, hitting the rear tailgate of the car.
The driver sustained minor injuries from broken glass. The turkey did not survive.
