TV Series Starts Filming On Cape Cod

The Starz series "Hightown" is about a Marine Fisheries Services officer who gets wrapped up in a murder investigation.

PROVINCETOWN, MA — An upcoming television series on pay cable channel Starz has begun filming on Cape Cod. "Hightown" follows a Marine Fisheries Services officer who gets wrapped up in a murder investigation after she finds a body that washes ashore. The show started filming in Provincetown May 31.

It had its most extensive shoot Tuesday, turning Commercial Street into a "Sea Mythology"-themed Carnival parade, the Cape Cod Times reported. Filming will take place on Commercial Street, at MacMillan and Provincetown Marina piers and the rotary near Provincetown Inn. It is expected to wrap June 10.

The series stars Monica Raymund ("Chicago Fire") and James Badge Dale ("13 Hours," "The Pacific").
