BOURNE, MA — Students and staff were evacuated from Upper Cape Tech on Friday after an electrical fire, Bourne police said.
All students are accounted for and released early, but one student suffered a minor burn. They didn't need to be transported to a hospital, however.
Buses transported students home on their usual route and students who drive were released. Parents were asked meet at Gallo Ice Arena to pick up their students, and a school official was there to facilitate that pickup.
