Vineyard Wind Construction Continues In Barnstable
A comprehensive list of the Vineyard Wind construction projects going on in Barnstable through Friday.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Vineyard Wind construction projects are ongoing, and the town of Barnstable provided a full list of what they're working on.
Running through Friday, Vineyard Wind will be conducting construction activities including cable pulling, duct bank installation and water service work at three construction sites. Activity will occur between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Cable Pulling
Through Friday, Dec. 9

Vineyard Wind will be pulling electrical cable between valve vaults along Independence Drive and Attucks Lane. During this time, a one-lane closure for both Independence Drive and Attucks Lane will be implemented. A single lane of travel is anticipated to remain open in both directions throughout the work.
Water Services
Through Friday, Dec. 9
Vineyard Wind will be installing water services on Strawberry Hill Road between Pine Street and West Main Street, as well as on Strawberry Hill Road between West Main Street and Route 28. Formal road closure and posted detours will be in place. All closed roadways will remain accessible to residents and businesses throughout construction.
Duct Bank Installation
Wednesday, Dec. 7, through Friday, Dec. 9
Pine Street will be closed to through traffic from Main Street to West Main Street to facilitate Vineyard Wind’s duct bank installation at the intersection of Pine Street and Strawberry Hill Road. All closed roadways will remain accessible to residents and businesses throughout construction.
Police details are scheduled to assist in directing traffic at each location.
