Voting Dates To Know For The 2022 Election In Barnstable
The Town Clerk's Office released a voting timetable, including early voting and registration deadlines. Here's what to know.

BARNSTABLE, MA — The upcoming general election is scheduled for Nov. 8, but there are plenty of other important dates to know ahead of time.
For starters, you don't have to wait until Nov. 8 to vote.
Barnstable officials released an election timetable for the 2022 elections, which includes the beginning of in-person early voting on Saturday, Oct. 22. In-person early voting continues through Nov. 4, operating from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on weekends and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

The Town Clerk's Office will also stay open late on Oct. 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for voter registration issues.
According to officials, many people are planning to vote-by-mail this year. Ballots have arrived, they said, but 8,400 have requested vote-by-mail ballots.

Among the important races on Cape Cod include Barnstable County Sheriff, Cape and Islands District Attorney and Barnstable County Commissioner. There are also, of course, a number of statewide races.
