WATCH: Great White Shark Goes Airborne, Nabs Fish Off Cape Cod
The video, shot over the weekend, shows a shark snatching a fish from a fishing line in Cape Cod Bay.
ORLEANS, MA — A shark let a family fishing in Cape Cod Bay do the heavy lifting for it, snatching a fish from their line as they reeled it in. The video was captured Saturday by Orleans-based fishing charter Columbia Sportfishing and shows the shark leaping out of the water to steal the fish.
The video shows a young boy jumping back as the shark goes airborne. The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy confirmed the shark was a great white.
The boat was about three miles west of Great Island in Wellfleet at the time, according to the Associated Press.
