WATCH: Great White Shark Jumps Out Of Water, Shocks Researcher
Watch a biologist get the surprise of his life off Cape Cod.

WELLFLEET, MA – Even for someone who works with sharks, this was a close encounter.
A researcher off the coast of Wellfleet last week got the surprise of his life when a great white shark breached the water while he was standing on a boat's pulpit. According to the Boston Globe, biologist Greg Skomal was holding a pole with a camera attached to it to film sharks underwater.
One shark was apparently ready for its closeup, leaping out of the water and baring its teeth below Skomal.
