The next leg of the project starts on Wednesday, with traffic on multiple town roads reduced to a single lane. Here's what to know.

News release from Town of Barnstable.

HYANNIS, MA — Starting Wednesday, October 11, 2023, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, a contractor for the Town of Barnstable Department of Public Works is scheduled to collect soil borings along various Town roads including Falmouth Road, Osterville-West Barnstable Road, Bumps River Road, Oldham Road, and Old East Osterville Road. As a result, localized traffic will be limited to a single-lane alternating, within the vicinity of each drill location. Traffic control will be onsite to assist motorists.
