Accomplishment: Multi-tasking volunteer and athlete
Key to Awesomeness: Amelia is a peer on the Centerville Elementary Special Olympics basketball team, where she is paired up with a student with special needs and they compete in basketball challenges against other schools in Barnstable. She also is a Book Buddy for a first grader in her school. While Amelia’s athletic passion is soccer, she plays golf and tennis too. When not involved with volunteering, she is busy with her Brownie troop and participating in the Reading to Dogs program at the Sturgis Library. And just to add to her awesomeness: she is an attentive, well-rounded student who loves both science and reading.
