Woman Loses Lip After Bulldog Attacks Her: Reports
The dog either belonged to the Barnstable woman or her boyfriend, according to reports.

A Barnstable woman has lost her lower lip after a dog either she or her boyfriend owns bit her, according to multiple reports.
The woman was bitten Saturday afternoon by a 9-year-old American Bulldog, The Boston Globe reported. Fox25 reported the dog was possibly part pitbull.
The Globe reported the woman has had the dog since it was a puppy. Fox25 reported says the victim's boyfriend is the owner.

The woman suffered the injuries at a residence on Waters Edge Road in Marston Mills and was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess in Plymouth before being airlifted to Mass General in Boston. The Globe reported the woman has had her lower lip removed as part of the injuries, citing Barnstable officials.
American Bulldogs vary in types but are typically stocky and muscular-looking.
