Yarmouth Man Sentenced For Running Drug Ring From Boston To Cape
Kevin Fraga, 26, pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl, heroin and cocaine from Boston to Cape Cod.
YARMOUTH, MA — A Yarmouth Port man was sentenced Friday in federal court for distributing fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine. Kevin Fraga, 26, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl, 500 grams or more of cocaine and 100 grams or more of heroin. Fraga was sentenced to three years, nine months in prison and five years of probation.
Prosecutors said Fraga and three others were arrested in August 2017 in connection to drug ring between Boston and Cape Cod. Fraga and his brother Alex Fraga were caught with large amounts of fentanyl, heroin and cocaine inside Kevin Fraga's Jeep, Winnebago and the home the brothers shared, prosecutors said.
A week later, prosecutors said the Fragas' drug suppliers, Kevin Chales and James Ramirez, were arrested, and police seized fentanyl pills and powdered fentanyl from a drug stash house in Dorchester, Ramirez's Dorcehster home and a safety deposit box at Santander Bank in Dorchester.

Ramirez pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 5. Prosecutors said Chales is expected to plead guilty on Jan. 30.
