Young Patriots Fan In The Spotlight After Going Shirtless In Cold Weather
The teenager joined many joy-filled fans in a celebratory act during the final quarter of Sunday's game.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Swansea teenager is in the spotlight for his actions caught on camera at Gillette Stadium this past Sunday, according to a report from WCVB NewsCenter 5.
The New England Patriots advanced to the AFC Championship on Sunday with its 28 to 16 victory over the Houston Texans in the Divisional round at Gillette Stadium. Many fans in attendance were seen celebrating the occasion on camera, including 14-year-old Landon Silva.
Silva ignored the cold and wet weather elements in favor of celebrating the momentous win in shirtless fashion. Silva's father and grandfather have been Patriots season ticket holders for 35 years, and Silva and his brother, Austin, were fully enjoying the experience. His actions went viral via ESPN's broadcast and his own social media posts.
