Frederick Stecker, retired Episcopal priest and holder of PhDs in both Theology and Psychoanalysis, will read from and discuss his recently (2011) published book. Stecker analyzes the religious rhetoric of American presidential campaigns and presidencies from the Reagan era, to the 9/11 era and the 2000s.  An illuminating and insightful profile of how a relatively small number of clerics and political strategists use Christianity as political propaganda.
