Former Mayor To Lie In State on Beacon Hill
Kevin White, former Mayor of Boston, will lie in state at the Parkman House on Tuesday before his public funeral St. Cecilia Parish in the Back Bay on Wednesday.

The deceased former Boston Mayor will lie in state in Beacon Hill and the Back Bay before a private burial, according to a Boston Herald article.
On Tuesday, January 31st, mourners can say goodbye to Mayor White at the Parkman House in Beacon Hill from 2 to 8 p.m., where, per the article, he will be "surrounded by honor guards of police and firefighters, with 45 representatives of his staff from 16 years at City Hall standing in attendance."
The funeral mass at St. Cecilia Parish on Wednesday, February 1st, at 11 a.m. will also be open to the public. In another Herald article, the White family spokesperson, George Regan, is quoted saying, “Kevin White was a people person. It’s not invitation-only. It’s open to anyone who loved the city of Boston and Kevin White.”
