Yet another snowstorm on Monday, Feb. 9 broke two long-held snowfall records and had Boston Mayor Marty Walsh ready to consider dumping excess snow into Boston Harbor.

But despite extensive media coverage and multiple declared snow emergencies in Massachusetts within the past few weeks, some out-of-staters don’t believe the hype.

One disbeliever – a student at Michigan State University – wrote on Twitter, “People from Massachusetts be freaking out over the snow. You know what we call this here? A normal day.”

Other Twitter users have also claimed Massachusetts is getting worked up over nothing, saying things like “it’s just winter” and that the state just needs to “get over it.”
