From a variety of course options and formats to award-winning support services, Middlesex Community College guides students on their paths to success. Middlesex will host an Open House at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 14 on the Bedford Campus.
"An open house gives prospective students and their families an opportunity to experience a college in a way that a website or brochure simply can't replicate," said Dr. Nicole Harris, MCC's Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Success. "They can meet the people who will support them, explore the campus, ask questions, and begin to picture themselves as part of the community. At Middlesex, we want students to leave knowing not only that there is a place for them here, but that we are ready to help them turn their educational goals into a clear path forward."
By attending the in-person Bedford Open House, future students can walk through the application process and have their questions answered. They will also be able to connect with the resources and people at MCC who will help them be successful from day one of their time at the college. This includes representatives from MCC's over 80 programs, such as the arts and humanities, business, social science, and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
The Open House will cover experiences from academic and career counseling, dual enrollment, financial aid and free college, tutoring, student access and support services, honors opportunities, and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take a campus tour of the Bedford facilities and apply to the college.
"This year, we are so excited to host our Fall Open House on a Saturday to make it more accessible for our prospective students and their families to join us," said Kristie Faletra, MCC's Director of Admissions. "The Open House presents the perfect opportunity for attendees to better understand everything MCC has to offer to students of varying needs. We're looking forward to welcoming guests to our campus and giving them an in-depth, inside look at Middlesex."
MCC will offer a second chance to take classes during the Fall 2026 semester. Featuring eight-week classes, the accelerated session starts Monday, November 2. MCC's Mini-mesters provide the same content, academic standards, and number of instructional hours as courses scheduled in the traditional 15-week semester.
