Bedford 2016 General Election Results

BREAKING: The preliminary results are in for Bedford.

BEDFORD, MA – The election results are in, and Burlington voters have favored Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton over Republican Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

According to the preliminary results from the town clerk’s office, Clinton won 63.93 percent of the vote, compared to Trump’s 27.80 percent.

In the lone local contested race, incumbent representative Kenneth Gordon defeated Paul Girouard Jr. by a count of 68.43 percent to 31.40 percent

Overall, 79.52 percent of Bedford voters turned out for the election. Here are the preliminary voting results.

PRESIDENT:

Hillary Clinton: 63.93%
Donald Trump: 27.8%
Gary Johnson: 5.08%
Jill Stein: 1.16%
