Bedford Coronavirus: Cases Rise To 64
Here are the latest updates about the coronavirus in Bedford.

BEDFORD, MA — Bedford has 64 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in town, as of Wednesday. Two people have died from the virus in town. Ten people have recovered from the virus in town. The total case number includes residents of the Town of Bedford, Hanscom Air Force Base and the Bedford Veteran’s Administration Campus as reported by the MA DPH.
Many of the identified close contacts of some of the Bedford cases never exhibited symptoms, have completed their required quarantine period and have been released from quarantine by the Board of Health, according to the town.
The town is reminding residents to properly dispose of personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves when done using them. The town recommends keep a plastic bag in the trunk or backseat of your vehicle to use as a trash bag for collection of used PPE.

State health officials on Wednesday revealed 151 new deaths related to the coronavirus, announcing the highest daily death toll yet just hours after Gov. Charlie Baker said Massachusetts is "in the surge" of the pandemic. The total number of cases in the state is 29,918.
