Bedford Election Calendar 2017-18

BEDFORD, MA – The Bedford Town Election will be held March 10, 2018. But ahead of that, there are important dates for residents to know. Here is when you can begin nominating folks for town office, when you must be registered to vote and when next year's state primary and election are to be held.

Below is the 2017-18 Bedford Election Calendar, via the Town of Bedford website:

• Special Town Meeting: November 6, 2017 (7:30 p.m. – Bedford High School Auditorium)
• Nomination papers available - Town Election: December 4, 2017
• Caucus: January 9, 2018 (starts at 7:00 p.m. – Town Hall Multipurpose Room)
• Year End campaign finance reports due: January 9, 2018
• Last day to obtain papers – Town Election: January 19, 2018
• Last day to return signed papers for certification – Town Election: January 22, 2018
• Last day to object or withdraw – Town Election: February 5, 2018
• Last day voter registration for Town Election: February 16, 2018 (Hours 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Town Clerk’s Office, 4-8 p.m. – Police Station)
• Pre-election campaign finance reports due – Town Election: March 2, 2018
• Town Election: March 10, 2018 (Polling Hours – 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.).
• Annual Town Meeting: March 26, 2018 (7:30 p.m. – Bedford High School Auditorium)
• Post election campaign finance forms due: April 9, 2018
• Last day voter registration for State Primary: August 17, 2018 (Hours 8-4 Town Clerk’s Office, 4-8 – Police Station)
• State Primary: September 6, 2018 (Polling Hours – 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.).
• Last day voter registration for State Election: October 17, 2018 (Hours 8-4 Town Clerk’s Office, 4-8 – Police Station)
• State Election: November 6, 2018 (Polling Hours – 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.).
