Every year, the Bedford Garden Club awards two scholarships of $1,000 each available to Bedford and Hanscom residents graduating high school or already attending college. Preference is given to students with an interest in pursuing a career in horticulture or related fields e.g. agriculture, botany, conservation, ecology, forestry, landscape design, and environmental science. These awards are announced at the Citizens Scholarship Foundation awards program in June.
Applications for the Bedford Garden Club scholarships are available from the Bedford High School and Shawsheen Valley Regional Technical School guidance departments or by visiting our website at www.bedfordgardenclub.org and downloading our 2019 Scholarship Application. The deadline is March 31, 2019.
