Bedford High Tennis Teams Play in State Tourney Semifinals Today
The boys take on Hamilton-Wenham while the girls play Manchester Essex today.

Both Bedford High boys and girls tennis teams will play today in hopes of getting to the MIAA North Division 3 finals.
Bedford boys tennis will take on Hamilton-Wenham at 3:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 5 at Hamilton-Wenham in the boys semifinal game. The girls will play Manchester Essex at 3:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 5 at Memorial Elementary School in Manchester in a girls semifinal face off.
On Monday, the boys pulled off a giant upset of number one seed Manchester Essex, which went into the match with a perfect 16-0 regular season record. Bedford won 4-1 over their Cape Ann foes.

The eighth-seed Buccaneers next takes on the fourth-seed Generals, which finished the regular season as 10-3.
The Bedford girls, meanwhile, head into the semifinal after knocking off 12th seeded Ipswich 5-0 on Monday. They will play number one seed and undefeated Manchester Essex, which will look to get revenge after the boys lose on Monday.
