Bedford To Hold Suicide Prevention Presentation

The goal of the presentation is to equip participants with knowledge of the warning signs surrounding suicide to prevent it.

BEDFORD, MA — Bedford is taking steps to prevent suicide, starting with educating residents about warning signs. The town's upcoming presentation, "Talk Saves Lives" focuses on warning signs to aid prevention.

The one-day presentation will be a brief introduction into suicide prevention. Participants will learn the common risk factors for suicide, how to spot the warning signs in others, and how to keep themselves, and loved ones safe.

The presentation will also give a brief background on what the most up-to-date research on prevention says.

The presentation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 in the Town Hall. RSVP is required and can be emailed to youthandfamily@bedfordma.gov.
