Bedford Plans Shawsheen Cemetery Cleanup
Residents who want to collect sentimental belongings or items of value should get them before March 1.
BEDFORD, MA — Bedford is planning a spring clean up of the Shawsheen Cemetery in March. Before the town starts cleaning, it wanted to give residents an opportunity to collect anything left at the cemetery.
Residents who desire to keep items of sentiment, such as baskets, floral designs, wreaths and decorations from the Shawsheen Cemetery should remove them before March 1. The Department of Public Works will be starting its spring cleanup of the cemetery and must dispose of any items not removed.
If you have any questions or have special circumstances, please contact the Department of Public Works at (781) 275-7605.
