Bedford Police Log: A Stolen Pursue and Youths Smoking

Friday, Sept. 27
At 6:11 a.m., a Lido Lane resident reported a barking dog, which the caller said is an ongoing problem. An officer spoke to the dog’s owner who said she will try to be more aware of when her dog is parking.
At 12:01 p.m., an employee at a business dropped off a stroller to the police department that was left at the store on Bedford Day. Police notified the stroller's owner who picked up the item.
At 8:06 p.m., a Caribou Street resident reported a stolen purse. Police took a report.

Saturday, Sept. 28
At 12:48 p.m., a motorist called after a bicyclist reportedly struck the side of her vehicle and he didn’t stop. Police found no damage to the vehicle.
At 12:58 p.m., a resident reported finding a wallet on Wiggins Avenue. Police contacted the wallet’s owner and he picked it up at the station.

At 5 p.m., a person reported finding a wallet at Citizens Bank. Police returned the wallet to the owner.
Sunday, Sept. 29
At 11:01 a.m., a person brought a dog found on Dudley Road to the station. Police notified the dog’s owner who picked up the dog.
At 6:28 p.m., police received a call of youths possibly smoking illegal substances. An officer spoke to the youths who were smoking cigarettes.
