Bedford Police Log: Disgruntled Ex-Employee Arrested, Cyclist Hit

June 21:
A caller reported seeing two white men walking on Temple Terrace and one had handgun at 8:15 p.m., Police said.
Two youths flagged down an officer on South Road at 2:55 p.m. to report that a bike had been stolen by someone in a van, Police said. Later the parents of one of the children said the bicycle had been located near McDonald’s

A driver reported a sink hole had developed along the side of the road on Burlington Road, Police said. Public Works was called to fix it.
June 23:
A cyclist found a wallet on a bike path in Concord which belonged to a Bedford resident. He brought it to Police Station and it was returned.
A deer was spotted in the back yard of a home on Hartford Street with a flower pot stuck on its foot, Police said. Police could not find the deer.
June 24:
A hit and run accident was reported on Taylor Pond Lane at 1:32 p.m.
A disgruntled former employee came to Cardinal Health and would not leave, Police said. Police arrested Anthony Makumbi, 25, for trespassing and towed his car.
A car drove over a lawn on Liberty Rod and blew a tire, Police said. The car became disabled.
A car hit a bicyclist on South Road and the cyclist was taken to Emerson Hospital, Police said.
