Bedford Police Log: ‘Erratic Driver’ Arrested on a Warrant

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Sept. 10

At 1:16 p.m., police responded to Great Road about an intoxicated man bothering customers in a parking lot. The man left before police arrived.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

At 1:20 p.m., police received a call about a child locked inside a vehicle on Crosby Drive. An officer and Riggio Auto Repair responded and were able to unlock the door.

At 4:53 p.m., a Meadowbrook Road resident reported a larceny. Police are investigating.

At 7:19 p.m., police arrested Dana Cangiamila, 46, 23 Riverdale Road, Billerica, on a warrant. Police responded to Great Road about an erratic driver who was driving at a very low speed and over the double yellow line. An officer pulled over Cangiamila and found there was a warrant for his arrest. Police made the arrest.

Thursday, Sept. 12

At 8:38 a.m., police responded to Shawsheen Road about a two-car motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries.

At 9:24 a.m., a caller reported work trucks on Fletcher Road were a hazard. She said she was driving her son to school on Fletcher Road when she passed three work trucks. She said one of the truck drivers yelled at her, but it was the only way she could get down the street is driving in the middle of the road. She said the situation was a hazard. A detail officer had just arrived and found no hazard.
