Bedford Police Log: Road Rage Incidents and Erratic Drivers Reported

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 13

At 5:06 p.m., police received a call about an erratic motorist on Great Road. The vehicle reportedly crossed the yellow lines several times. Police spoke to the driver, who appeared OK.

At 9:49 p.m., police received a call about youths driving erratically at the Davis School. They were reportedly driving in circles. Police spoke to the youths and sent them on their way. 

Saturday, Sept. 14

At 10:30 a.m., police and fire responded to Concord and McMahon roads concerning a truck fire. Firefighters put out the fire and Patterson Towing towed the vehicle.

At 11:19 a.m., a caller reported an unattended black bag on Concord Road. Police responded and found it was empty.

At 1:43 p.m., police responded to Concord Road concerning a road rage incident involving a driver and a bicyclist. The driver left the area. Police spoke to the bicyclist and a witness and also called the suspect.

Sunday, Sept. 15

At 12:41 a.m., a Page Road resident reported someone ran a doorbell and ran away. Police searched the area, but did not find anyone.

At 12:30 p.m., police responded to North and Dudley roads after a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist. Police arrived and found it wasn’t an accident, but a bicyclist fell off his bike. He was taken to Lahey Clinic.

At 3:17 p.m., police received a call about a road rage incident in Burlington on Route 62. The Bedford man said a man on a motorcycle who was riding with two females, who were also on motorcycles, followed the Bedford man and yelled at him.
