Bedford Police Start Spring Speed Campaign

The campaign started on March 6th and will run through March 22.

BEDFORD, MA — Bedford police are starting the Spring Speed Campaign. The campaign started on March 6th and will run through March 22, 2020.

Sponsored by The Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, the campaign will primarily focus on violators who are speeding. Bedford Police officers will be paroling areas throughout town in support of the campaign to help drivers to correct speeding and bad driving habits.

"Speeding endangers not only the life of the driver, but all of the people on the road around them, including law enforcement officers," said Traffic Enforcement Officer Thomas Devine. "This program helps to foster a community of safer roadways for everyone."
