Bedford Releases 2020 Town Meeting Warrant

BEDFORD, MA — Bedford released the annual Town Meeting warrant on Thursday, loaded with 38 articles. More than half of the articles are bylaw amendments to boards including the Board of Health, Housing Authority and Historic District Commission, to name a few.

The 2020 warrant also features several proposals for bonded projects, which require a two-thirds majority vote. Article 24 seeks financing for an addition and renovations to the police station. Article 25 proposes authorization to replace the library’s central heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system. Article 26 requests funding to acquire a site for the construction of a new fire station.

Bedford's Annual Town Meeting will be at 7 p.m. on March 23. The warrant will be mailed to homes across Bedford and is available online and below:
