BFD Douses Black Friday House Fire
A small house fire on Dunster Road was extinguished on Friday, Nov. 23.

The term Black Friday typically conjures a vision of swarms of shoppers, not billowing smoke and soot. But both were the case this morning in Bedford.
A little before 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, the Bedford Fire Department responded to a house fire at 3 Dunster Road. The small fire was contained to two rooms -- a kitchen and dining room -- before being extinguished less than two hours later, a BFD spokesman said this morning.
The home was occupied by its residents at the time of the fire, but they all got out safely. There were no reported injuries to any civilians or firefighters.
