Black Bear Spotted In Bedford

Residents are advised to bring in food sources like bird feeders and keep an eye on pets.

BEDFORD, MA – A black bear was spotted Wednesday afternoon in Bedford, police said. The bear was reported in the area of Curve Street near the Shawsheen River.

Residents are advised not to approach wildlife, bring in food sources like bird feeders and keep an eye on pets. Anyone who sees a bear is asked to call Bedford Animal Control at 781-275-1212.
