Elderly Woman With Dementia Reported Missing

Bedford police are searching for Joyce Miller of Pennsylvania who was last seen leaving a function on Great Road Saturday.

BEDFORD, MA — The Bedford Police Department is asking for the public's help locating an elderly woman with dementia who was reported missing Saturday. Joyce Miller, 71, of Pennsylvania, was attending a function on Great Road when she left the event between 5 and 6 p.m. Police said she was driving a sky blue 2013 Toyota Prius with a roof rack and a Pennsylvania registration.

"(She) is not familiar with the area," Chief Robert Bongiorno noted in a press statement.

Miller is 5-feet, 5-inches tall, and weighs around 150 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. Miller was wearing a multi-colored vest with an orange turtleneck and black paints when she was last seen.
