Students can plan ahead and set themselves up for success by registering now for Middlesex Community College’s Fall 2023 semester. Flexible and affordable options guide students of all stages in their lives to start a new career, earn college credit, or upgrade skills.

“We understand that summer is a busy time for many, and we have experts on-hand from across the college ready to assist you with making your plans for Fall now,” said Bryan Wint, MCC’s Assistant Dean of Pathway & Academic Advising. “By registering early, you get the best pick of classes and have time to organize your schedule to fit your needs, meet with advisors, and take one of our First Year Experience classes to help you adjust to college life. This puts you in a great position come Fall to reach your goals.”

To help students fit education into their busy schedules, MCC offers on-campus, online, hybrid and hyflex classes for its over 80 program offerings. With hyflex learning, students can choose to take classes in-person or on Zoom on a class-to-class basis. Classes are taught by one professor who engages students in-person and online at the same time using a range of technology, including breakout rooms and Google docs.

MCC’s Fall 2023 semester starts on Tuesday, September 5. Students can choose to take classes during the traditional 15-week semester or the eight-week Mini-mester I or Mini-mester II. While Mini-mester I begins on Tuesday, September 5, Mini-mester II allows students to start later in the semester on Monday, October 30.

Middlesex will also offer a final five-week Summer Session starting on Tuesday, July 11. With accelerated sessions, students get the same content, academic standards, and number of instructional hours as courses scheduled during the traditional 15-week semester in less time. Shorter sessions help students finish their credits faster and balance coursework with other responsibilities.

“At MCC, we strive to make education customizable for each individual,” Wint said. “Register now and learn how we can help you pursue your dreams.”
