UPDATED: No Injuries after Hard Landing at Hanscom Field

The pilot of the Beachcraft Bonanza declared an in-flight emergency due to a landing gear malfunction just before landing.

BEDFORD, MA — Officials say there were no injuries when a small plane had a hard landing at Hanscom Field late Saturday afternoon.

The pilot of the Beachcraft Bonanza aircraft declared an in-flight emergency due to a landing gear malfunction before coming down hard on Runway 5 at Hanscom just before 5 p.m. Saturday night. Reports say the aircraft did land with the landing gear up.

There were two people on board the plane, but were able to get themselves out of the aircraft.
